Alexis is the CFO at Bilderback Productions. John and Alexis have been a team on a search for the best wind, waves, and cutting edge athletes to bring you the newest and best images in kitesurfing. When Alexis met John in 2002 it wasn't long before she moved to Hawaii to be closer to him. Soon after that he bought her a tripod and had her shooting DV tapes on a sony PDX-10. Jack McCoy's recommendation at the time.

"I was working in a small kite shop in the Outer Banks when he found me. He sent me a plane ticket soon after we met and had to move to the island as soon as I could. Since then he has been inspiring me to choose my video shots well and teaching me how important good lighting is for good footage. Over time he has had patiently encouraged and trained me to be passionate about shooting so that I am able to enjoy the sport on a whole new level."-Alexis

After six years of adventures and training Alexis has a small library of movies she has contributed to over the years. Including:

The Kite Movie Lines, Spare Change, Unhooked 2, Space Monkeys 2, The Slingshot Movie, Real's 6 DVD instructional series, and the newly released Licked Finger Films web shorts.

"What I like best about shooting kitesurfing is the Profesional Athletes I work and travel with. I like to see kiting taken to new extremes. I like to capture the emotions and adrenaline after a big risky day. John's photos make everyone stoked. That makes me want to work harder. I hope that by filming some of these same peak moments that we can share this sport we love with people we love and others we hope to inspire. To people who watch TV I want to say "Get up, get out there, go kite, or go feel the wind on your face. Or if you are too comfortable, I understand and so we'll go out there and we'll bring it to you." -Alexis

Television is the future, and Alexis is never as happy as when her footage or her interviews make the final cut on a television show. It is a sign that a sport has traction when year after year another show buys some more kite footage. She was born and raised in Colorado. Graduated from CU with a BA in Spanish and Biology. Although she may miss the good powder days of snowboarding and snow-kiting, she loves the warm weather and the Aloha of the island of Oahu now. An artist at heart Alexis is also a painter and a kitesurfer. When she is not shooting video with John she is in Hawaii checking the wind report and then asking John for a launch.
